Goodbye Google Ads 👋

I made it to the Google Ads $100 threshhold after 9 years! 🥳💵 I decided to try to make a little cash off of some ads to cover the cost of the domain name. I didn’t realize it would take this long, but I made it! It will pay most of the 9 years * $12 a year = $108.

I started this blog in 2016 after moving from GeekswithBlogs.net . GeeksWithBlogs was a great place for me to get started, but in 2016 I sensed that it wasn’t being updated and it was time for me to strike out on my own. Thankfully the Way Back Machine still has a copy, since the site is no longer in operation.

Metrics

I’ve been consistently getting about 500 to 800 visits a month. Some months are better than others, especially when I get linked from the Morning Dew by Alvin Ashcraft (thank you!). Cloudflare
